We hosted an awesome stop yesterday in Vegas on behalf of Bob Hamrick and his leadership team at Coldwell Banker Premier (thanks for Sponsoring, Bob!).
We had around 200 agents in the room and while I got to share everything we are doing to win right now, one thing really stood out to me about this group...
The level of professionalism in the room in terms of attire was astounding. I say all the time.. you dress for what you want, not for what you have and it was clear to me that Bob and his leadership team embody that. Now of course, Glover U is broker agnostic and so we had a mixed group of brokerages and agents from those brokerages in the room but it was clear to me where Bob's group was as they all sat front and center and they stood out in a good way.
Dressing for what you want your calendar to say means you are always ready. For me, it was a no brainer because when I set a goal to sell my first 100, given my ratios at the time, I needed to be in front of someone every single day and therefore I knew, no matter what, that I had to suit up. In fact, if I didn't have an appointment to go on, I had to spend one hour out door knocking (which I hated) but it got me suited up and ready every single day, no matter whether my calendar had an appointment or not.
At next month's Live Unreal Summit, we have a surprise keynote that just so happened to coach a championship team last year on this very thing alone - staying ready. I can't wait for you to meet him and until then, we'll keep it a surprise.
