As a professional salesperson or leader in the industry, it is in our best interest to wake up this morning and keep our response to the outcome of the election to ourselves.
While just over half of the country voted one way, nearly half of the country voted the other way so no matter who you voted for, there's just as many people who voted the other way which means that your commentary about the result will likely excite as many people as it will hurt.
Instead of talking about who won or lost, we should now focus on how we can work together to be better neighbors to each other and understand each other's view points, even when they don't agree with ours. The outcome should never be about who's right or who's wrong and instead should be about what the majority of our country wants at that time and how we can work together to make sure everyone receives the prosperity they deserve, regardless of their definition of it.
The challenges aren't changing and you and your family will have the same opportunity to prosper regardless. So if your team lost, pick your head up and consider it as an opportunity to make the best of the next four years - there's silver lining in EVERYTHING in life... and if your team won, I know you'll do the same.
Until then, let's get back to work. We have buyers and sellers who need our help. PS: Also, it's the day after the election, which means you may now follow up with everyone who said they wanted to wait until after November 5th!
